Terms and conditions of use

1. Informational nature and no advice

Convertilo is a purely informational site that shows exchange rates (such as the blue, official, MEP and CCL dollar) and crypto asset prices, a currency converter, price histories, calculators and news.

• Nothing published on the Site constitutes financial advice, an investment recommendation, legal, accounting or tax advice, or an invitation or offer to buy or sell currencies, crypto assets or any other asset.
• Trading currencies and digital assets involves risk. Users are solely responsible for the decisions they make.

2. Source and currency of the data

• The rates, prices and other data shown are obtained from publicly available sources and third-party services, and are updated automatically or periodically.
• The owners of the Site do not guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, currency or continuous availability of the data or of the sources used. Values are for reference only and may differ from those in force when you trade.
• Histories are built from data the Site has been recording and may have gaps or differ from other sources.

3. Calculators and tools

• The results of the calculators (for example, salary in dollars, imports or freelance services) are estimates based on the data entered by the user, on the available rates and on simplified assumptions.
• Taxes, withholdings, fees and other charges may change or vary in each case. The results are not a substitute for consulting a licensed professional.

4. Telegram alerts and browser notifications

• The Site offers two ways to receive a notice when a price reaches the value chosen by the user: through Convertilo’s Telegram bot and through browser push notifications.
• Alerts are checked periodically, approximately every 15 minutes (it may take longer), and depend on third-party sources and services (including Telegram and each browser’s notification service). They may arrive late, not arrive, or not reflect the price available when you trade. Delivery and timeliness are not guaranteed.
• Each person can have a maximum number of active alerts (currently five per Telegram chat or per browser). Alerts are deleted once triggered.
• The personal data involved in alerts is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

• The structure, design, source code, logos, organization of the content, tables, charts and indicators developed in Convertilo are the intellectual property of the Site’s owners, protected by the laws in force in the Argentine Republic (including Law No. 11,723).
• Reproduction, distribution, commercialization or modification of the Site’s content, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the express written authorization of its owners.
• The Site offers a widget that can be embedded in other sites using the code available in its integration section. The owners are not responsible for third-party sites that embed it or for their content, and may modify or withdraw the widget at any time.

6. Third-party links, advertising and referral programs

• The Site includes links to third-party platforms (exchanges, wallets and digital financial services), some of which are referral programs or sponsored links, and it may display advertising banners.
• Using these links may generate a commission or benefit for the owners of Convertilo.
• The user’s commercial or contractual relationship is established exclusively with the destination platform, and also with Telegram in the case of alerts, which is a third-party service subject to its own terms. The owners of Convertilo accept no liability for the operation, policies, security or content of those sites and services, or of any advertising pieces that may be displayed, which are the sole responsibility of each advertiser.

7. Voluntary donations

• The Site allows voluntary donations in crypto assets to public wallet addresses. The owners do not process payments on the Site.
• Donations are voluntary and do not entitle the donor to anything in return.
• Blockchain transfers are irreversible. Before sending, the user must check the address and the network. The owners are not responsible for transfers sent to a wrong network or address.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

• The Site is provided “as is”. It may be interrupted, fail or be suspended due to maintenance, problems with the data sources or causes beyond the owners’ control.
• The owners accept no liability for the use made of the information or for any damage or loss that may arise from decisions made on the basis of it.

9. Changes

The owners reserve the right to modify, update or suspend, at any time and without prior notice, the Site’s content, design or features, as well as these Terms and Conditions.
