How to get a Telegram alert when the blue dollar hits your price

Want to know when the blue dollar reaches a certain price without staring at your screen all day? The Convertilo bot on Telegram does it for you, for free.

Step 1: open the bot

Search for @convertiloar_bot on Telegram and tap Start (or type /start). This step is required: Telegram doesn't let a bot message you unless you have started the conversation first.

Step 2: create your alert

Type /alerta followed by the price you care about. For example: /alerta 1500. Just type the number, without thousands separators. The bot compares that value with the current blue dollar selling rate and decides on its own whether to notify you when it rises or when it falls to that level. It confirms with a message showing how the alert was set up.

Step 3: wait for the alert

When the blue dollar reaches your price, you get a message with the rate at that moment and the alert turns itself off. If you want to keep being notified, create a new one. Alerts are checked every few minutes, so the notification may take a little while to arrive.

Other useful commands

/misalertas shows your active alerts and /cancelaralerta deletes them all (the commands are in Spanish: /misalertas means "my alerts"). You can have up to 5 active alerts at the same time. Also, /dolar shows today's rates and /convertir 100 USD ARS converts amounts without leaving the chat.
